The Lowells are involved with Caribbean School of Theology. Jim serves as the Director of Graduate Studies and Jeanne serves as
the Dean of Graduate Studies.
"These are exciting days for us in the Caribbean School of Theology. More
doors are opening up throughout this region for us to go and teach on
both the B.A and M.A. degree levels. It means added trips for us, which
you all
know means added expense. We
are not sure how we are going to to do it as we have been below our assigned
budget since the first of the year. This past month we were over $1,400,
below the budget we are supposed to have. We know there is an economical
downturn but we ask for churches
and individuals to join with us in some of the most exciting days we
have experienced in missions. It would be a shame if due to finances
we could
not complete the task that is before us. We ask you if you are not supporting
us that you would consider
taking us on with monthly support. We thank all of the churches, friends,
and family who have faithfully supporting us these many years. Many
churches have dropped our pledge and we sincerely need your help. We
are not continually
asking for support
in each of our newsletters, but at this time we feel compelled to do
so. We pray God's blessing on your lives as you do. And in advance we
say, 'thank you so much!'"
